Stuart Pendlebury - Scripture Union

Finding your purpose at School

Raised in a Christian home, Stuart came to a personal faith in Jesus on a Christian camp at the age of 11 and has never looked back.
After serving for 15 years in the NSW Police Force and then managing the Justice and Police Museum for a further seven years, Stuart moved into full time Christian work as a school chaplain, and then as a youth pastor at Oatley. He remembers with great thankfulness the positive nurturing and encouragement he received in the Christian lunchtime group at his school, and is passionate about the way Scripture Union continues to support NSW school students through ISCF groups and SUPA clubs.
Stuart loves spending time with his family, and can also be found cheering on his beloved Dragons, watching or playing cricket, or diving on historic shipwrecks.
